Vancouver police are warning people who bought public transit tickets at Metro transit stations' vending machines to make sure their debit and credit cards haven't been compromised, according to a ctvnews.com report.
Transit police said "skimmers," devices used to obtain data from bank cards, were found on two Compass Card vending machines on the Canada Line.
Police said it's unknown if card data was compromised, so customers who used the machines were advised to check with their banks.
